I very much enjoyed my time at the center. The great location makes you feel as tough you were in the national park itself, which by the way is just a short walk from the center.

Konrad, Germany

This is a beautiful place in a magical part of the world full of fantastic wonderful people doing amazing outstanding things! I spent about a month on this project working on building terraces for permacultural gardens, and into the planning of the layout and even the planting. Unforgettable and amazing experience filled with adventures and community.

I liked a lot that everyone is open minded to new ideas and that you also have responsibilities in your project but anytime help is provided, too. I learned a lot, had a great time and I would definitively recommend this project.

It is astonishing with how much friendliness and love they put all their energy into this project and every tiny bit that you can do to support them will help to keep the cloud forest alive!
Thank you again so much for this wonderful time and the friendship!

"After over a month, I can absolutely say volunteering there has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, I learned so much that I cannot go back to my country without making my own small organic cultivation. I just fell in love with the stunning nature and the people of the center. Federico and florencia are absolutely amazing and will totally make you feel like at home, besides you will find great and patient teachers in the workers, always ready to help you out (especially if you do your best to get hurt by anything around). You shouldn't miss the chance to get to know the place and spend the most lovely time in oxapampa! I hope to see everyone again and to follow the evolution of this awesome project."

The five weeks I spent volunteering here were absolutely amazing. The site is incredibly beautiful, isolated but with nothing lacking, perfect to connect with both nature and wonderful people.
Not only did Florencia and Federico make me feel like part of the family, but working alongside with them and Pancho and Pool enabled me to learn so many things; from how to build a roof in practically a day, to caring for and monitoring plants and animals (frogs, sloths, guinea pigs...) or how to set up a worm compost and use plants as natural insect repellents.
The work is really varied and you'll get a chance to swing a machete, use a pickaxe, plant trees and vegetables, help with building, learn to cook traditional Peruvian dishes, learn about native medicinal plants, and so much more! What's great is that all four of them are as eager to share their knowledge as they are to listen to different ideas and suggestions. They're such beautiful, kind, and generous people that I would definitely recommend spending time with them if you can!
Thanks again for my making my stay unforgettable!

I miss this beautiful, mind-blowing, incredible place in the high Amazon basin in Peru! And what I miss the most is Florencia, her family and the atmosphere. Unforgettable experience which I trully recommend. I wish I could stay there for longer!
I hope I'll see you all guys again - in Peru or in Poland!

If you are looking to be involved in a great project with lovely people then I highly recommend this project. The facilities at the centre are great, such as a big kitchen and a hot shower. I was also involved in making an outdoor oven where we made really nice bread and other things.

Prospective volunteers-If you are interested in helping some wonderful people to create a space for teaching and conserving the cloud forest, if you are interested in construction, biology, trails, conservation work, and/or reforestation, and if you want to spend some time in a beautiful location (and perhaps glimpse the elusive spectackled bear...we did on a trip to the national park, located just up the road from the center), this is the place.

Prospective volunteers - Come to the center if you want an awesome experience and want to learn a lot about the environment...or just see a spectacle bear!!! Florencia and Federico, as well as the other workers here are incredible and so hospitable..

Kristen, United States

"I spent a fantastic three weeks in the cloud forest with Florencia and Federico. If you want to learn more about this environment, biological investigations and current conservation issues then this is a fantastic project to help with. The work is varied and you can choose what you would like to focus your energy on. The team are so welcoming and kind and you will feel like part of a family after just a few days.
If you are thinking about volunteering here.. I would say DO!"

"I spent the best of my time in Peru, here. It is such a beautiful place, with courageous and awesome goals, and wonderful people. Flor, Feder, Pancho and Lorenzo helped to make my time volunteering here so worthwhile. Right away we were welcomed with open arms, and started out on some awesome projects such as building steps on a trail, gardening, and digging a huge pool and canal. The daily fee goes towards all the materials (gas, food, petrol) that keep the volunteers fat and happy at the center! I wish I could only have stayed longer.
Flor and Feder are two incredibly welcoming and genuine people with a large vision for their center. I am so happy I got the chance to help these visions come to life!

"This is an exciting project led by some very passionate and knowledgeable people. If you're interested in nature, and want to spend some time working on varied ecological projects in the cloud forest, this is the one. The work varied from constructing a hydro project, maintaining the chacra, feeding the cuyes, helping with a frog research project and learning about their approach to permaculture. Pancho and his team were great fun to work with, and there was always something to learn. I hope I can return again someday to see their process."
David, United States
"I had a great time during my stay. I am really happy to have helped somehow the project: build bamboo fences, an orchid big pot, sort tadpoles and so on! And now some trees I plant are growing! Muchos gracias a todos."
